Actor AJ Perez dead in Tarlac accident

TARLAC CITY, Philippines – Television actor Antonilo Joseph Perez, better known as AJ Perez, and one of the stars in the popular ABS-CBN drama series “Sabel,” died after the van that his group was riding in collided with a bus in Moncada, Tarlac, early Sunday, police said.

Police officer 3 Lowel Directo, investigator of the Moncada police, said Perez and his five companions were aboard a Nissan Urvan and were on their way to Metro Manila when they met the accident along the MacArthur Highway in Barangay San Julian, Moncada, at 12:10 a.m. Perez’s group came from a show in Dagupan City.

Overview

Once an account is created, players are able to log in to a server and choose a character to begin the game. All characters start at level 1 and initially level up through very simple introductory quests designed to teach the player about the game. These quests take a few minutes to complete and will give a new player an idea of how to move, control their character and other simple concepts. At level 8 a character can make a party to invite 1-4 players and they all share EXP from individual kills. At level 9 a character can choose a specific first class related to the character they chose, they cannot however use class specific equipment until level 10. A “Lance” character can become an Explorer, Hunter or Swordsman. A “Carsise” character can become a Swordsman. A “Phyllis” character can become a Hunter, Herbalist, or Explorer (or Crusader in newest 2.0 version). An “Ami” character can become an Herbalist or Explorer.

Starting at level 15, a player may purchase a ship with which they may sail on the water. Certain elements of the game can only be accessed in this way (60% of accessible territory on water)

Introduction

The game is based on the adventures of Lance, a human raised by demons, Phyllis, a girl with a shortened lifespan (which does not affect gameplay), Ami, a young little girl that does not age, and Carsise, a half-demon. The world they live in is made up of multiple continents and islands in which they travel by foot or by ship, killing monsters and other obstacles in their way with a wide variety of weapons.

The largest cities are all ports, although their climates are quite different, ranging from Shaitan’s deserts to Icicle’s frozen plains. It is in these cities in which newer characters slowly build up their skills and fighting prowess before adventuring into the unknown. Each fighting class does all of its class advancements in their corresponding city, e.g swordsmen change classes in Argent, hunters in Icicle, herbalists in Shaitan, etc.

Skills

Players of different classes have different and unique skills that assist them in battle. There are two types of skills: passive and initiate. Passive skills increase the character’s stats (attack, attack speed, defense, etc.) permanently, and affects his/ her performance all the time. Initiate skills, however, is temporary, so the initiate skills like Berserk, which tremendously increase the character’s attack speed for about 10 seconds, wears away after a period of time, unlike passive skills like Concentration, which permanently increase the character’s hit rate.

Classes

Players can choose to be different classes, varying with their character. There are in total 10 classes, 4 belonging to the Primary Classes, which can be chosen at Level 10. Those classes include Swordsman (deals physical damage), Hunter (ranged class using bows), Explorer (deals powerful magical damage and has many bonuses on sailing), and herbalist (weak in offense but can heal other players and give them temporary bonuses on their stats- known as “beffing”). At Level 40, players can choose an advanced class depending on the character and the basic class. Those 6 classes include Crusader (a popular class, is very agile and deals melee damage), Champion (high defense with high HP, dealing high melee damage), Sharpshooter (high ranged damage, uses fireguns), Voyager (magical damage, even more bonuses for their boats), Cleric (more healing and supportive power), and Seal Master (similar to Cleric, but has more offense).[3] In the newest 2.0 version of the game, however, Phyllis could also be a Swordsman, and will be able to advance to be a crusader.

Primary Classes

Those are the classes that can be chosen at Level 10. In the new V. 2.0, Phyllis can also be a Swordsman.

Swordsman

Swordsman is the melee class in the game; they rely on swords and shields and they are the damage-dealer in a party. Only a Lance or Carsise (and Phyllis in Version 2.0) can be trained to be a Swordsman. Lance swordsman can advance to crusaders which use two single handed swords and have incredibly high attack speed and high attack power. Carsise swordsman can become Champions which have the highest HP and defence in the game and use large two handed swords and act as the tank class in the game.

Explorer

Explorers deal magical damage using special corals. They are relatively powerful since their magical damage neglects the target’s defense, therefore the amount of damage done is always the same no matter how strong the opponent is. Explorers also have skills that temporarily increase their ships’ defense and/ or speed. Explorers can only advance to voyagers. A Lance, Phyllis, or Ami can be an explorer.Explorer is pre-class of Voyager.

Hunter

Hunters use bows to deal ranged damage. Their damage is considerable but they are quite weak in terms of defense and HP. Hunters can advance to sharpshooters, which are very powerful using guns instead of bows. A Lance or Phyllis can be a hunter.

Herbalist

Herbalist is a magical class that uses stave’s to deal magical damage. They can also heal and help other party members by increasing their abilities. Herbalist can advance to cleric or a seal master. Ami and Phyllis can become a herbalist

Advanced Classes

Those are the classes that can be chosen at Level 40. In V.2.0, Phyllis can also be Crusaders/ Champions.

[edit] Crusaders

They are Lance (or Phyllis) characters that are armed with two swords. Crusaders generally are the fastest and most deft players, and are one of the strongest classes. Players have developed different “models” (or builds when stat points of a character are added specifically to make the player especially strong at a certain area) of the class, the most popular one being the “slasher” model. Slashers use the advantage of the skill “Illusion Slash”, where remote and effective damage is dealt to a target. The goal of the Slasher model is to be able to kill any target with a single Illusion Slash. They can even use “Stealth” which makes them invisible to the monsters and other players (only to players in PvP areas (Player vs Player))!! They are loved by IGG for being the most expensive class in the game, and the main killer.

Champions

Champions are Carcise characters that are the most defensive and perhaps most offensive players in the game too. They generally have high hit points, very high defense, and usually high offense. They use two-handed swords called Greatswords that deal a lot of damage, and are an important part of a PvP or maze team. There are several builds for champions; most players prefer whether very high health (so high that sometimes the healing speed is faster than the speed the player is getting attacked) or very high offense, while neither of these models have a high attack speed, but the damage made up for that.

Manny Pacquiao on Twilight???

Manny Pacquiao Versus Edward Cullen.. Who would be best fit for the role? Heheh..

TWILIGHT PLOT:

Bella Swan has always been a little bit different. Never one to run with the crowd, Bella never cared about fitting in with the trendy, plastic girls at her Phoenix, Arizona high school. When her mother remarried and Bella chooses to live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, she didn’t expect much of anything to change. But things do change when she meets the mysterious and dazzlingly beautiful Edward Cullen. For Edward is nothing like any boy she’s ever met. He’s nothing like anyone she’s ever met, period. He’s intelligent and witty, and he seems to see straight into her soul. In no time at all, they are swept up in a passionate and decidedly unorthodox romance – unorthodox because Edward really isn’t like the other boys. He can run faster than a mountain lion. He can stop a moving car with his bare hands. Oh, and he hasn’t aged since 1918. Like all vampires, he’s immortal. That’s right – vampire. But he doesn’t have fangs – that’s just in the movies. And he doesn’t drink human blood, though Edward and his family are unique among vampires in that lifestyle choice. To Edward, Bella is that thing he has waited 90 years for – a soul mate. But the closer they get, the more Edward must struggle to resist the primal pull of her scent, which could send him into an uncontrollable frenzy. Somehow or other, they will have to manage their unmanageable love. But when unexpected visitors come to town and realize that there is a human among them Edward must fight to save Bella? A modern, visual, and visceral Romeo and Juliet story of the ultimate forbidden love affair – between vampire and mortal. Written by Summit entertainment

Isabella Swan moves to gloomy Forks to live with her father. As she starts her junior year in high school she becomes fascinated by Edward Cullen who holds a dark secret which is only known by his family. Edward falls in love with Bella as well but knows the further they progress in their relationship the more he is putting Bella and those close to her at risk. Edward warns Bella that she should leave him but she refuses to listen and to understand why he is saying this. Bella learns his secret. He is a vampire, however she is not afraid of his blood-thirsty needs and the fact he could kill her at any moment. Bella is afraid of losing him, the love of her life. The thrill begins when a new vampire finds it a challenge to hunt Bella down for her irresistible blood. The game is on and James will not stop until she is killed. Written by courtney

Bella Swan is a clumsy, kind hearted teenager with a knack for getting into trouble. Edward Cullen is an intelligent, good looking vampire who is trying to hide his secret. Against all odds, the two fall in love but will a pack of blood thirsty trackers and the disapproval of their family and friends separate them? Written by LadyN1

Bella Swan was not expecting anything out of the ordinary to happen when she moved to live with her Dad in Forks, Washington. But this where her life truly begins. There she meets Edward Cullen, a mysterious and captivating student at her new high school. Bella soon discovers that Edward is hiding a secret, after he impossibly saves her life from a van with his super-human strength and speed. She is determined to unravel his secret, but the truth is more terrifying than she realized. Edward is a vampire. Any normal person would just keep away from him, but Edward and Bella have fallen passionately and unconditionally in love with each other. And so begins their forbidden relationship between a human and a vampire. But the young lovers soon discover that their troubles are only just about to begin. Written by Mel from the Untied Kingdom.

Jeff Dunham

Jeff Dunham is an American ventriloquist and stand-up comedian who has also appeared on numerous television shows, including Star Search, Late Show with David Letterman, Comedy Central Presents and The Tonight Show. He is familiar to Comedy Central audiences for his three specials on that network: Jeff Dunham: Arguing With Myself, Jeff Dunham: Spark of Insanity, and Jeff Dunham’s Very Special Christmas Special. His style has been described as “a dressed-down, more digestible version of Don Rickles with multiple personality disorder.”

Walter

Walter is a retired, grumpy old man with arms always crossed in discontent. He has a brash, negative and often sarcastic view on today’s world. He is a Vietnam War veteran and a former welder, and “doesn’t give a damn” about anyone, especially his own wife and certain audience members. Walter has appeared in all three Comedy Central specials. He’s been married for “46 years”, and when Dunham asks him if he remembers the happiest moment of his life, Walter responds, “Yeah, it was forty-seven years ago.” Dunham created the Walter puppet himself, including both the initial sculpture and the silicon mold, though he eventually began utilizing professional effects companies for the latter stages with his subsequent puppets.

Peanut

Peanut is a purple-skinned “woozle” with white fur covering most of his body, a tuft of green hair on the top of his head, and one red sneaker on his left foot. Dunham explains in Arguing with Myself that Peanut is from a small Micronesian island, and that they met in Florida. Peanut’s humor is not based on a particular motif or stereotype, as those of the other characters. He often makes fun of Dunham and often torments and mocks José Jalapeño on a Stick. Touching upon his unusual appearance and personality, he asks Dunham in Arguing with Myself, after Dunham denies ever having done drugs, “Then how the hell did you come up with me?”

José Jalapeño on a Stick

José is a talking jalapeño pepper on a stick who wears a small sombrero. José, who speaks with a thick Spanish accent, is typically paired with Peanut, who often makes fun of José, uses appeals to Latino stereotypes when doing so, and makes fun of his being on a stick. Although José was not Dunham’s first puppet, it was the first that Dunham made himself.

Bubba J

Bubba J is a beer-drinking redneck that Dunham describes in Arguing with Myself and A Very Special Christmas Special as “white trash trailer park”, and uses Bubba J for humor that centers on stereotypes associated with that group. To this end, he frequently does jokes involving Bubba J’s love of drinking beer and NASCAR, and his low intelligence. Touching upon such stereotypes, Bubba mentions in Arguing with Myself that he met his wife at a family reunion, and remembers seeing her with a corn dog in one hand, a beer in another, and leaning against a ferris wheel, “making it tilt”.

Sweet Daddy Dee

Dunham introduces Sweet Daddy Dee in Arguing with Myself as his “new manager”. He calls himself a “pimp”, which he says stands for “Player In the Management Profession.” According to Sweet Daddy, because he is a pimp, that makes Jeff the ho. When Dunham objects, Daddy Dee points out that Dunham makes people laugh and feel good for a living. When Dunham agrees that this is the case, Daddy Dee says, “You a ho.” When Dunham asks what he would say if he told him that he was a comedian only because he enjoyed it, Daddy Dee responds, “You a dumb ho.”

Melvin the Superhero Guy

Melvin wears a blue superhero costume, and is used to poke fun at superheroes. When asked about his superhuman powers, he indicates that he has X-ray vision, adding, “I love looking at boobies!” He appears to have no other powers, however: When Dunham asks how far he can fly, he responds, “How far can you throw me?” Dunham portrays Melvin as unimpressed with other superheroes: When told Superman can leap tall buildings in a single bound, Melvin dismisses him as a “showoff” who can simply walk around them, observes that Aquaman has the same powers as Spongebob Squarepants, that the Flash’s super speed is derived from methamphetamine, that the Hulk’s vaunted ability to get stronger as he gets angrier merely mirrors “every white trash guy on COPS,” and makes innuendo about the questionable relationship between Batman and the underage Robin. Melvin’s first onscreen appearance was in the July 2003 Comedy Central Presents episode, in which he had small, black, beedy eyes. By his next appearance, in Arguing with Myself, he had been modified to have large, blue, crossed eyes. Dunham sculpted the current version of Melvin’s head himself, and hired an effects company called Renegade Effects Groups to create the rubber mold and complete the puppet, before then installing the mechanics himself.[14]

Achmed, the Dead Terrorist

Achmed is the skeletal corpse of an incompetent suicide bomber. He is used by Dunham to perform comedy based on the contemporary issue of terrorism. He is known for yelling, “Silence! I kill you!” to Dunham and people in the audience who laugh at him. Achmed first appeared in Spark of Insanity, and later made an appearance in the Very Special Christmas Special, singing a song called “Jingle Bombs”. Most of the humor Dunham expresses with Achmed centers on this motif. When mentioning that Achmed appears to be dead because he’s a skeleton, Achmed responds, “It’s a flesh wound.” When Dunham inquires as to how he died, Achmed explains his incompetence with explosives, while also casting aspersions on Dunham’s sexual prowess by saying that they both suffer from “premature detonation.”

Punisher: Warzone The Movie

Punisher: War Zone is a 2008, action, comic book, anti-hero film based on the fictional Marvel Comics vigilante/anti-hero the Punisher. The film is an original telling of Frank Castle’s war on crime and corruption rather than a sequel to the graphic novel’s 2004 The Punisher movie, and is the first film to be produced under the Marvel Knights production banner, which will focus on films for mature audiences. British actor Ray Stevenson replaces Thomas Jane as Frank Castle. In the film, Castle wages a one-man war against a horribly disfigured mob boss known as Jigsaw (Dominic West). Punisher: War Zone was released in North America by Lionsgate on December 5, 2008, and was released February 6, 2009 in the United Kingdom.

“Punisher: War Zone” will probably be ranked as one of the worst movies of 2008. It certainly is the worse comic book movie of the year. But that’s only because Frank Castle’s exploits usually ends up with him blowing up the bad guy, and that’s about it. There is no “Dark Knight” drama in “War Zone”, although the Punisher’s theme music seems to be right out of that movie (which was one of 2008′s best films).

Just like Warner Bros.’ re-invented the Batman franchise with “Batman Begins” and Universal re-imagined the Hulk with “The Incredible Hulk”, Lions Gate’s latest is a re-boot for “The Punisher”. It’s more in touch with its comic book roots than the Tom Jane 2004 version. In fact, director Lexi Alexander’s take was inspired by visual look of the comic book’s “MAX” run. And to her credit, the movie’s blood and gore is over-the-top and true to the comics. Surprisingly, the movie even managed to get an ‘R’ rating. It’s every bit as graphic as the unrated versions of 2006′s “The Hills Have Eyes” and “Hostel: Part II”. There are plenty of bloody kills and gore fans will love every one.

As far as the casting goes, Ray Stevenson looks the part; tall and tough-looking, but I think Tom Jane gave more to the part. He is Michael Keaton to Stevenson’s Val Kilmer. Speaking of “Batman”, there is so much of Nicholson’s ”Joker” in “Jigsaw” that it’s not even funny. Dominic West of “The Wire” and “300″ puts on a hammy performance as the disfigured, diabolical mobster. Ditto for genre vet Doug Hutchinson (he was “Tooms” in “The X-Files”) who plays his wacko brother “Looney Bin Jim”.

“Punisher: War Zone” is ulitmately fan service. It’s not much better than the 2004 “Punisher”, but it looks good, it’s fast-paced and is packed with conventional action and graphic kills.

What do you think about the movie guys?

50 Greatest Computer Workstation Setups

Whether you are working on a Mac, a PC, or even both, the way your workstation is setup tells more or less about your attitude and style of working. The workstation could also be your source of inspiration, therefore you might want to put in more thoughts on the place that you’ll spend most of your time at.

We crawled through the net, checking out at how people setup their workstations, focusing how what machines they use, how they are positioned, the decorations, and how other peripherals come in order. Some might think setting up a cool workstation is nothing much but an ‘ego-thing‘ but we’ll like to add a point – lots of great ideas and inspiration came from great working environment, particularly the workstation.

Now if you agree, or maybe just curious to see how other people’s workstations look like, here a compilation of 50 Greatest Computer Workstation Setups. Full list after jump.
